Known in many circles as DJ Chocolate, she is a businesswoman, an accomplished radio personality, an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, who performs for crowds both domestically and internationally. With a passion to set a standard of grace, sophistication, and femininity in a male-dominated industry; Chocolate wholeheartedly believes in displaying a personal style that commands respect without compromising modesty.
Additionally, she loves to also find creative and non-traditional ways to subtly represent her sorority colors and flair. This passion led to an opportunity to expand on that passion more for other members like her. Professionally, she wanted to represent her organization but not break the rules of dress codes that we find in many corporate office settings and board rooms. This is how the Grown and Greek® fashion line was born.
As a talented performer, Chocolate has been featuted in some of the top markets in the country and continues to be in high demand as a DJ and ambassador for national brands. However, one of her proudest moments, was being tapped as the official DJ for the South Eastern Region of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, which synergized her brand exclusively with her beloved Sorority.
With the many accomplishments Chocolate has to her resume, she also maintains her footprint in the corporate world. Currently, she works in professional sports in marketing and graphics ;for the New Orleans Pelicans Basketball Organization.
